Welcome to my blog, Party people! It’s time for the big reveal. It’s time to show you what I have created. This is the seventh Bead Soup Blog Party however my first to participate in. I am so honoured to be a part of this event. First of all, a big thank you to Lori Anderson, who organised over 500 beaders from all over the world, pairing them to swap beads and design something wonderful.
I was paired with Evelyn Duberry, who sent me this fabulous soup for me to work with. These gorgeous lampwork beads were handmade by Evelyn in her studio in Ottawa, Canada. I love these colours, they are so vibrant and happy. I used most everything I was given and I am very happy with my creations.
I’ve designed two necklaces, a bracelet and a pair of earrings. First I made a long necklace using the focal bead and many of the coordinating beads I received from Evelyn. I had some trouble photographing such a long necklace but I hope the photos have captured its beauty.
Then I had to use the clasp, but how was I going to overcome this challenge? It is a beautiful button clasp but I had never used this kind of clasp before. Then I thought about a wrap bracelet so much in fashion. This was my first wrap bracelet and I love the result.
Pensei então numa pulseira estilo Chan Luu. É a minha primeira deste género.
I still had some of the lampwork beads and it was a pity they were left unused. This time it couldn’t be a long necklace, so I thought about a short one. Using some leather cord I strung Evelyn’s glass beads and some metal beads.
I’ve always been very fond of earrings so I had to make some with some turquoise glass beads.
I hope you’re enjoying the party. Leave a comment before you go, and let me know what you think. And please go visit Evelyn Duberry’s site to see what she made with my soup. Below you can find the list for the 3rd reveal. The list for the 2nd reveal is here and the 1st here.

ResponderEliminarI agree, the wrap bracelet is absolutely lovely!
ResponderEliminarSuch a fun, bright mix Evelyn sent you. You made it all work so well! Very nice.
ResponderEliminarStunning work :) And I'm glad you saved a few beads for those earrings since they look gorgeous! The blue just pops beautifully with the darker metal :)

ResponderEliminarReally nice work. I LOVE that wrap bracelet! I can't believe it's the first time you've made one!
ResponderEliminarI love what you made. Solved the challenges that you have mentioned very artfully. The necklace with the leftover beads turned out so pretty. What a clever idea using the cord. Also the earrings are darling cute. Dita

ResponderEliminarWhat beautiful colors! Lovely designs!
ResponderEliminarI love your bracelet a lot! The mixture of beads and leather is very lovely!
ResponderEliminarSabine
I'm in love with the second necklace!!!Everything is beautiful though
ResponderEliminarBeautiful jewellery! Love them all! I really like how different the lampwork beads look depending on which colour they're combined with: in the first necklace, you highlight the turquoise blue in the bead and in the second necklace you really bring out the earthy tones in the beads. Well done!
ResponderEliminarYou did a wonderful job on everything, but my favorite is the wrap bracelet. First one? Never would have guessed!
ResponderEliminarGreat job on the wrap! Love the colours!
ResponderEliminarGorgeous colors and a great idea to make a wrap bracelet....I bet if you wrapped the necklace around and around it could become a bracelet too with the focal on top of the wrist... really pretty !
ResponderEliminarWhat a beautiful color palette you had to work with. Really like the wrap bracelet and how you incorporated the button clasp into it.
ResponderEliminarHello there I love what you did with your soup. Your designs are so cool...ty for sharing with us all...I was in first reveal if you want to look...bye for now and Happy beading
ResponderEliminarhttp://jaacquelinesjewels.blogspot.com/2013/03/bead-soup-blog-party-reveal-is-here.html

ResponderEliminarBeautiful! You did a great job! I truly love the wrap bracelet!
ResponderEliminarGreat designs! I absolutely do love the wrap bracelet! The color choices in the long necklace are beautiful and the combination with metal beads and leather in the shorter necklace is perfect for the summer feeling of the lampwork beads.
ResponderEliminarI love the colors in your soup. You did a fantastic job putting them together...lovely pieces!
ResponderEliminarLovely pieces, makes the sun shining!
ResponderEliminarI love everything. I like how you split up all of the lampwork beads into several creations. I probably would have tried to use all of it in one piece. Youare very creative. Linda
ResponderEliminarI like what you did with your soup mix. Very colorful, nice.
ResponderEliminarVery pretty! I think my favourite is the shorter necklace - love the colours in that - but it was hard to choose!!
ResponderEliminarLovely designs. Great use of your soup!
ResponderEliminarYou made gorgeous pieces from your lovely soup!!
ResponderEliminarAll of your pieces came together beautifully. I'm especially fond of the wrap bracelet and that second necklace. On the bracelet, I like how you used the transparent and the opaque beads in sections. It almost feels like stripes. And that second necklace is great with the more neutral beads so that the lampwork can shine through. Great job!!
ResponderEliminarI love what you've done with your soup! Great colour combinations :)
ResponderEliminar
