Featured in a Treasury on Etsy / Num tesouro do Etsy

Hi! My Leaf of Olwen Earrings have been featured in a new treasury on Etsy. The curator for this Treasury was Elena Anufrieva, who is a Russian photographer. In her Etsy shop named RivuletPhotography you can find magical photo art prints of St. Petersburg, Moscow and Paris. Clicking on the image will take you to the treasury.

Outono / Autumn

I've been selling on Etsy for a few months now but I haven't been very active. Today I've compiled my first Etsy Treasury. It's dedicated to Autumn.

It seems Summer is soon to end. We are having our first serious storm here. Do you like my Fall Colors?

When you click on the image that will take you to my Fall Colors Treasury.

PS. This is an edited post. For some unknown reason, my treasury displayed with the Craftcult website is not right so I've removed the link to that site.

My Country Blog Hop

8th Bead Soup Blog Party post
A Time to Stitch 5 post

~~~~
Today is the reveal for My Country Blog Hop, an international event hosted by Canadian Nan Smith. A big thank you to Nan.
A bit about myself. My name is Ana Cravidao and I am from Portugal, a country in Southwestern Europe. In general, Portugal is associated with sunshine, beaches and good wine.
Less known aspects are the old architecture, the tile making art and the pavements made with black and white limestone.
Tile making is a traditional art here in Portugal. It was introduced by the Arab peoples many centuries ago in the Iberian Peninsula. Their intricate designs were of the utmost beauty.
Tile work has evolved. From geometric motifs where the blue colour was generally used, nowadays any colours and motifs, or no motifs at all, can be used.
My fascination with the elaborate geometric motifs in the Arab tiles as led me to choose, or should I say, to 'borrow' the Persian tile pattern from Marcie Abney.
I had planned to make a bracelet with several 'tiles' connected by wire links but I must confess that I ran out of time. I ended up with one 'tile' that I've attached to a silver plated trace chain. I hope you like it.
I look forward to seeing everybody's creations in this blog hop. Be ready to be amazed because there are great artists participating.
Etsy
Os meus brincos Leaf of Olwen foram escolhidos por Dita Basu de alankarshilpa para figurar no Tesouro It's Spring in the Air. Muito obrigada. Não podia estar mais feliz.
PS - I've removed the link to CraftCult which was not working properly.
Below you'll find the image of the Treasury. If you click on it that will take you to my earrings because the current treasury doesn't feature them anymore. Strange, right?
Sopa de contas / Bead soup
The bead soup has sucessfully reached its destination. I'm surprised that it arrived so quickly. I sent it on Wednesday by regular post and yesterday it was delivered to my lovely partner Siobhán who lives in Dublin, Ireland.
A minha 'sopa de contas' do evento Bead Soup Blog Party chegou à sua destinatária num instante. Enviei-a em correio normal na quarta-feira e foi entregue ontem, sexta-feira, à minha querida parceira Siobhán em Dublin, na Irlanda.
I can't wait to see what she creates with this sea inspired bead soup.
Mal posso esperar para ver o que vai criar com esta sopa de contas inspirada no mar.
Versão / Version
Olá queridos leitores! Hoje quero mostrar-vos uma versão dos brincos Star Flower que já conhecem e sobre os quais podem ler aqui. Estes são para mim. Não foi intencional mas têm qualquer coisa de vintage.
Hi lovely readers! I'd like to show you a version of the Star Flower earrings I made on October - you can read about them here. This pair I've made for myself. It was not intended but they look vintage.
Quadrados / Squares
Hoje trago-vos um colar no qual a corrente feita com peças quadradas é a protagonista.
Today I would like to show you a necklace I've made in which the square links are the main feature.
Uma pulseira que fiz recentemente para oferecer a uma amiga, segundo o gosto da destinatária.
